About

Service first. It's not a slogan — it's the method.

Why we exist

Most technicians were trained to fix things, not to talk about fixing things. Then one day the owner asks them to "present options" — and the whole visit gets awkward for the tech and the homeowner alike.

Service 1st exists to close that gap. We train techs the way good trades are taught: hands-on, on real jobs, with coaching that respects the craft. The goal isn't to turn techs into salespeople — it's to make them the most trusted person the homeowner meets that week. The revenue follows.

What we believe

  • Selling is part of the service — a homeowner can't say yes to a repair they don't understand.

  • Scripts fail because they replace judgment. We build judgment, then vocabulary.

  • The best closer on a truck is the tech the customer already trusts.

  • Training that isn't reinforced in 30 days is entertainment.

How we work

We're a small training practice, deliberately. Every engagement starts with ride-alongs and manager conversations, is delivered on-site with your team, and ends with a playbook your leadership owns — because a training vendor who's always needed is a dependency, not a partner.
